Inspired by beachcombing and collecting sea shells, Shoreline Shells is a quilt pattern celebrating the ebb and flow of the ocean and relaxing on the beach. We’ll sew these blocks together, using foundation paper piecing (FPP)—one quilt block at a time, each at our own pace. Not only will you have a pretty quilt at the end of the project, but you’ll also gain valuable skills and have fun!

Immediately after you purchase the Shoreline Shells quilt pattern, you’ll receive links to download the Welcome Packet/planning materials along with ALL of the patterns. This was originally introduced as a Block of the Month/Quilt Sew Along in 2023, so you can now sew at your own pace. Free bonus online videos are also available.

For those who want to add the OPTIONAL sea glass motif in the center of the circle layout, the Shoreline Sea Glass mini quilt pattern (sold separately for $12.95) is required.

Instructions for TWO options are included: circle arrangement and the grid arrangement. Make one quilt or BOTH! You don’t have to choose. See below for more details including individual block measurements and fabric requirements.

Extremely well written and detailed pattern with accompanying videos . Sheri also answered my emails quickly with any questions I had. I had never FPP before—ever—and this project came out perfect! I’m very happy I found whole Circle patterns!

I am very pleased with the Shoreline Shells patterns. They are very well written and go together easily. I appreciate that your patterns are so detailed. I normally will skim through instructions and run into problems. I am making an effort to slow down and be more present in my sewing. Your patterns make it so easy to follow along. As a result, I think I have improved my FPP skills. I love your design esthetic. Thank you for such a wonderful BOM.
